Governance

The ADC is a registered NPO with the Department of Social Development, 169-204 NPO and is registered with the South African Revenue Service as a Public Benefit Organisation, PBO 930048717.  The organisation's appointed auditors are The Tax House, based in Grahamstown.

The work of the ADC is guided by the ADC Constitution (last amended 9 November 2016) and the governance of the organisation is overseen by the Management Committee. The Management Committee meets once a quarter where narrative and financial reports are presented.  The ADC holds an Annual General Meeting to take into consideration the financial and programme status of the organisation.
 

All members of the Management Committee are volunteers, and the 2018 Committee is made up of the following people:

The day to day oversight of the organisation's work is the responsibility of the Centre Director, Mr Garry Rosenberg.  He is also responsible for developing the organisational budget along with the Treasurer and the Accountant.
